Juventus – Genua
The title is very close now. Everything Juventus have to do is to continue winning and the Scudetto will once again arrive at Turin. This weekend Juve are hosting Genoa at the Juventus Stadium and the goal for the champions could be only one – another important win and moving a step closer to the league title.During the week Juventus had to play their second 1/4-final against Barcelona in the Champions League. The game at the Camp Nou ended in a 0-0 draw, which allowed Juve to qualify for the 1/2-finals of the competition.Because of the tiredness in the team after the visit to Catalonia, you could expect to see some changes made by the manager Massimiliano Allegri. Some of the team’s key players will most likely get a rest, while many of the reserve players will get a chance to prove themselves. As for Genoa, Ivan Juric’s team is currently placed 16th in the league. They are 9 points above Crotone and the relegation zone in Serie A, so they could be pretty calm about their survival until the end of the campaign. Although it would be good for them to win a few more points, just to be sure. How we already said, you should expect to see Max Allegri making some changes in his starting eleven for the game. It’s 100% sure that the Bosnian maestro Miralem Pjanic is missing the match because of suspension. Claudio Marchisio, on the other hand, is doubtful, as he continues to heal an injury. As for Genoa, they are going to travel to Turin without three of their players, who are suspended – Pinilla, Rigoni, and Izzo. Morosini and Pandev are still doubtful with injuries. It’s not surprising to say that Juventus are the clear favorite against Genoa. They have enough options to replace the tired players who played against Barca, so we expect to see them fresh and ready to go against Genoa.
